
I can’t remember where I heard this tip (Cup of Jo?), but it has served me well. When kids are feeling not awesome, just add water:
Go outside and water plants
Take a bath or shower
Drink hot/cold water
Walk by water (creek, lake, ocean)
Sit and look at water
Play with water (water table, in a pot with cups for pouring)
Wash dishes or toys
Use spray bottles to make water art on the driveway
Just add water.
